Connect Claude
to Scribe.

Connect Claude to Scribe once, then read, write, search, and auto-organize your notes from any conversation.

How this works

Claude is the assistant you talk to. Ask Claude to read, write, search, or organize your notes and it does the work in Scribe. Open the Scribe app on your phone any time to see and manage the results.

Before you start

You add the connector in Claude Desktop or claude.ai (a browser) — not the Claude mobile app. The free Claude plan works — you just need a Scribe account (the same email you use in the Scribe app).

Connect in 5 steps

  1. Open Claude on desktop or web

Custom connectors can’t be added from the Claude mobile app. Use Claude Desktop (Mac or Windows) or claude.ai in a browser to set this up.

  2. Go to Settings → Connectors

Open Claude’s Settings, then the Connectors tab.

  3. Add a custom connector

Click Add custom connector. The only field that matters is the server URL — paste Scribe’s address below.

    https://scribe-dev.kecker.co/mcp
  4. Sign in to Scribe

A Scribe window opens. Sign in with your email and approve access. You only do this once. No token or header to paste — sign-in handles it.

  5. You’re connected

Claude can now work with Scribe. Try one of the prompts below.

These steps show Claude — the most common setup. Scribe is a standard MCP server, so it also works with ChatGPT and other MCP-compatible assistants: add the same URL as a connector there.

Try saying

If something’s not working

Claude says it can’t find my Scribe data
Open Claude → Settings → Connectors → Scribe and confirm it shows your email (signed in). If not, click it and sign in again.
I don’t see “Add custom connector”
You’re likely in the Claude mobile app — connectors can only be added in Claude Desktop or claude.ai (a browser). Open Claude there, then Settings → Connectors.
It’s asking me for a token or an authorization header
You don’t need one. Use only the URL above — signing in to Scribe grants access automatically.
